Responsibilities
- Supports the provision of qualified staff across all assigned locations by collaborating with management to assess staffing requirements, adjusting daily schedules, and forecasting monthly needs while planning ahead for absences and open positions.
- Tracks and manages statistical data, ensuring workflow aligns with established staffing models or specific directives from nursing leadership.
- May oversee the onboarding and orientation of external or agency personnel, confirming compliance with state and accreditation standards, and maintains accurate documentation for these staff members.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with patients, families, medical staff, and other care team members during interactions with the staffing office.
- May serve as the primary contact point for third-party staffing agencies, under the supervision of a manager or director.
- Completes additional assigned tasks as needed.
