Learning Care Group, Inc. is looking for a Cook (Food Specialist) to ensure the nutritional well-being of children in our care. You will be responsible for overall food preparation, adapting to menu changes while meeting strict meal and snack schedules.
What You'll Do
- Create home-style, nutritional meal plans within the school's menu and budget, as well as state and federal requirements.
- Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff and distribute food to the classrooms.
- Follow the daily menu provided by the Director which incorporates USDA, licensing, and/or health department regulations.
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed.
- Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.

- Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work.
Nice to Have
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility.
