PAR Systems is hiring a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers through a transformative period of growth and innovation in Advanced Manufacturing. You will set the technical requirements and direction for new and existing first-of-a-kind solutions while managing team assignments for optimal performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team responsible for designing and implementing software and control systems for complex, custom automation equipment.
- Drive planning and execution of PAR Systems' mission, vision, and strategy as the company grows.
- Manage the assignment of engineers with optimal personnel utilization to improve execution and internal capabilities.
- Shape a complex engineering organization to meet customer expectations and enable company growth.
- Collaborate with Chief Engineers, project management, sales, and estimating teams.

- Experience building high-performing teams, architecting robust control systems, and delivering production-ready automation solutions.
Technical Stack
- CNC and PLC platforms (Siemens, Rockwell Automation)
- IEC 61131-3 languages (Structured Text, Ladder, Function Block)
- Industrial communication protocols (Profibus, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT)
- PC-based control and embedded software systems
- Motion control, robotics, and kinematic systems
