About the Role
The Controller will lead all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across systems and stakeholders. This role supports strategic decision-making through insightful analysis and maintains strong internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes with precision and adherence to deadlines
- Oversee preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Lead audits and coordinate with external accounting firms
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with SaaS business models
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial policies
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making
- Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity reporting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings
- Support due diligence for acquisitions and capital raises
- Work closely with private equity stakeholders on reporting requirements
- Implement and optimize financial systems and automation tools
- Drive process improvements across the finance function
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Ensure proper treatment of equity and debt instruments in financial records
- Develop and track key performance metrics for finance operations
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Ensure data integrity across ERP and ancillary systems
