Müller's Solutions is looking for a Control-M Operations Engineer to support an ongoing project by managing batch job scheduling and workload orchestration within Control-M. This part-time remote role focuses on configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation, with all scripts already prepared.
What You'll Do
- Create, configure, and manage Control-M jobs, folders, and workflows
- Set up job parameters, conditions, and dependencies
- Schedule jobs using calendars, time windows, and cyclic rules
- Configure notifications, alerts, and job priority rules
- Monitor job execution using Control-M Enterprise Manager (EM)
- Troubleshoot job failures and ensure timely reruns and SLA adherence
- Validate job flows and logic with business stakeholders
- Coordinate Linux-based command jobs, checking logs, exit codes, and permissions
- Prepare documentation including runbooks, job inventories, and dependency maps
- Support UAT cycles and ensure smooth operational handover
- Support new capabilities for process improvement
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Control-M scheduling and job configuration
- Ability to manage batch jobs within Control-M
- Experience setting up job parameters, conditions, and dependencies
- Experience scheduling jobs using calendars, time windows, and cyclic rules
- Ability to configure notifications, alerts, and job priority rules
- Proficiency in monitoring job execution using Control-M Enterprise Manager (EM)
- Experience troubleshooting job failures and ensuring timely reruns
- Ability to validate job flows and logic with business stakeholders
- Experience coordinating Linux-based command jobs
- Ability to check logs, exit codes, and permissions
- Experience preparing documentation such as runbooks, job inventories, and dependency maps
- Experience supporting UAT cycles and operational handover
