Bombardier is looking for a Contracts Manager - Classic Accounts to join our Business Aircraft team. In this role, reporting to the Director of Contract Management, you will lead all activities related to new aircraft purchase contracts from initiation to closeout, providing essential commercial and legal support to both internal and external customers.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to achieving aircraft delivery objectives by providing ongoing commercial and legal support to internal and external clients.
- Support payment objectives related to the aircraft purchase contract and manage deliverables according to contractual payment schedules, including customer invoicing and follow-up to ensure timely receipt of funds.
- Lead negotiations and draft contract documents, including amendments, contract assignments, escrow agreements, letter agreements, and service contracts.
- Drive business results by anticipating risks and, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, implementing creative and effective mitigation plans to meet aircraft delivery schedules.
- Promptly escalate unresolved contractual risks to management.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, including Contracts and Legal Services, Sales, Finance, Tax, Risk Management, Program Management, and Customer Account Management teams to ensure rigorous contract and policy compliance while delivering an extraordinary customer experience.
- Serve as a key resource for the company and internal parties on complex issues and critical problems related to the interpretation, analysis, and execution of the aircraft purchase agreement.
- Prepare customer correspondence in accordance with the purchase agreement and ensure proper follow-up.
- Participate in customer meetings and program reviews as required.
- Contribute to governance and process improvement activities related to departmental functions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in law, commerce, or business administration, or equivalent.
- Strong business acumen combined with at least five (5) years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, or contract management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently and diplomatically advocate a point of view.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate initiative, make informed decisions, and be meticulous.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual (French and English).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com application is an asset.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is an asset.
