Responsibilities
- Act as the main contracts strategic advisor to market leadership, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and solutions throughout the entire business lifecycle from pipeline and capture to performance and closeout.
- Collaborate with Capture Managers and Business Development to review RFPs, shape competitive strategies, and provide contracts guidance to enhance win probability.
- Lead and negotiate prime contracts, task and delivery orders, modifications, teaming agreements, and NDAs, focusing on protecting company interests while enabling program success.
- Oversee and evaluate major proposals, monitor contract terms and conditions, and identify risks with associated mitigations in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Serve as the market's advocate within the Contracts organization, ensuring responsiveness, alignment, and consistent execution across the portfolio.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including government contracting officers, prime contractors, and subcontractors, acting as a reliable point of contact and problem-solver.
- Work closely with Project Control, Accounting, and Program leadership to monitor contract performance and ensure conformance to requirements and deliverable obligations.
- Maintain contract systems, files, and records to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, company policy, and government requirements.
