As a Contracting and Control Sales Engineer for VRF Solutions, you will lead the commercial push for integrated climate technologies, focusing on Variable Refrigerant Flow systems and building automation. Your role centers on shaping sales strategies that align with long-term business objectives while delivering tailored solutions for complex projects.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement sales plans that consistently meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets
- Position integrated system offerings—including VAV, thermal storage, central plants, and large multi-split VRF systems—to match client project needs
- Partner with technical teams to develop customized, competitive proposals based on engineering specifications
- Engage with design institutes, MEP consultants, and end users to identify and capture new business opportunities
- Lead cross-functional coordination to manage and close integrated system projects from concept to contract
- Ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and timely follow-up in line with company protocols
- Support order acquisition and drive timely collections in alignment with performance goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in HVAC, refrigeration, building energy systems, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of five years of direct sales experience in air conditioning, HVAC equipment, or mechanical and electrical engineering solutions
- Proven relationships with design firms, engineering consultants, and industrial clients
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and develop basic system schematics and flow diagrams
- Strong presentation and customer engagement skills with a self-driven, problem-solving approach
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Familiarity with building automation and control systems
