Conduct in-person evaluations in clients' homes to assess functional abilities and identify environmental barriers affecting safety and independence. You'll develop customized recommendations grounded in clinical evidence to support aging in place and improved mobility for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive home assessments and functional evaluations during scheduled visits
- Design practical, client-centered plans for home modifications that reduce fall risk and enhance daily living
- Educate clients and caregivers on safe movement techniques and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with clients and their families to build realistic, achievable care goals
- Share insights and observations with clinical leadership to inform service improvements
- Complete all documentation promptly using secure digital systems
Requirements
- Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current, unrestricted OT license
- At least two years of hands-on clinical experience
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Comfort using digital tools for documentation and remote communication
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in home health, aging in place, or disability-focused care
Compensation & Payment
You will be paid $120 per evaluation, with compensation covering travel time, the in-home visit, and required documentation. Extended travel may qualify for additional payment with prior approval. Contractors are paid monthly, within two weeks of the prior month’s end.
Work Mode
This is an onsite role conducted entirely in clients’ homes across the U.S. You must be available for at least 10 hours per week to accommodate in-person visits.
