Prime Robotics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Racking Installer for a temporary contract position. You will be responsible for installing rack structures for our Advanced Pallet Station (APS) robotic systems. This role is intended to evolve into a recurring part-time position as our deployment volume grows.
What You'll Do
- Install and assemble warehouse rack and structural framing components according to drawings and plans.
- Accurately lay out rack positions on the floor using tape, chalk line, laser, or transit.
- Ensure rack structures are properly anchored, level, plumb, square, and installed to the required tolerances for robotic operation.
- Operate forklifts and lifts to position rack components safely.
- Use common installation tools including impact drivers, torque wrenches, hammer drills, concrete anchors, levels, laser levels, squares, and measuring tools.
- Coordinate with Prime Robotics field engineers and site personnel during the installation process.
- Identify and flag installation issues, floor conditions, or tolerance concerns early.
- Follow all site safety requirements and Prime Robotics installation standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience installing warehouse racking or similar industrial structures such as pallet rack, shelving systems, mezzanines, or structural frames.
- Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain one quickly.
- A strong understanding of floor layout and anchoring, leveling, plumbing, and squaring rack systems, and mechanical assembly best practices.
- Comfort working in active warehouse or construction environments.
- Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and installation instructions.
- Physical capability to lift and position heavy components with equipment.
- A reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused approach to work.
Work Mode
This is an onsite role, requiring you to be present at warehouse installation locations.
