ActioNet, Inc. is hiring a Telecommunications Engineer III for a senior-level contract position. This role requires extensive travel to various locations in the Indo-Pacific region. You will be responsible for the engineering, installation, integration, verification, and transition of secure infrastructure, communications, IT, and security systems.

What You'll Do

Perform site assessments, engineering design, ISP installation and modernization execution, SCIF buildout, software configuration, logistics support, cutover assistance, and final acceptance.
Assist in the installation of voice and data cabling including copper & fiber optic terminations, CAT.5, CAT5e & CAT.6, following EIA/TIA standards and BICSI installation guidelines.
Assist in documenting the network by labeling and routing equipment and cables.
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment and ISP cabling issues.
Document weekly and monthly status reports.

What We're Looking For

Must be a US Citizen.
Possess a minimum TS/SCI security clearance.
A minimum of at least 7 years of experience as a Telecommunications Engineer.
Experience installing SATCOM equipment.
Ability to pass a Federal Background check.
Possess a valid driver’s license and valid Passport for travel.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to make independent judgment and perform repetitive tasks.
Must be at least a high school graduate or equivalent.
