About the Role

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Contract Launcher to drive the launch and growth of new markets and contracts for childcare businesses. In this remote role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to small business owners, combining analytical expertise and entrepreneurial thinking to make a tangible impact on early childhood education.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end launches of new markets and provider contracts.
  • Travel to meet with childcare providers, partners, and stakeholders to support strategic market entry.
  • Conduct in-depth business assessments to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Recruit and support providers looking to open their own childcare centers.
  • Guide providers in financial planning, including P&L management, revenue forecasting, and growth strategies.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize provider onboarding and business success.
  • Provide mentorship and training on financial literacy, business operations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to enhance market efficiency and provider experience.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in business management, operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in building financial models and analyzing unit economics.
  • Experience working with small business owners or entrepreneurs in an advisory capacity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage key stakeholders effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on scaling businesses and driving operational excellence.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet providers and support market launches.
  • Proficiency with CRM, Sales Engagement tools, and general technology stacks.

Nice to Have

  • MBA is a plus but not required.
  • Located in Bay Area, NY, or DC preferred.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $80,000–$120,000 USD plus equity.
  • Health benefits: 100% coverage for employee premiums and 80% for dependents.
