MyFlorida (Department of Management Services) is hiring a Contract Analyst III

Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish legal advertisements and bid solicitation notices accurately and promptly.
  • Compile precise bid letting proposal packages.
  • Ensure project packages meet advertisement and letting requirements.
  • Handle addenda accurately and promptly.
  • Obtain necessary funding approvals.
  • Organize lettings, assemble bid packages, and monitor plan and proposal holder information.
  • Review bids for completeness and adherence to requirements.
  • Assist in bid openings.
  • Evaluate contractor bids and proposals for responsiveness.
  • Post intended awards and manage contract execution in accordance with legal standards and procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records.
  • Input and update all required computer system information accurately and promptly.
  • Create files and generate necessary reports using various computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer systems and information.
  • Oversee and ensure quality control of the District Contracts Administration Website.
  • Review and address website error and compliance reports.
  • Verify website corrections and report issues and resolutions to the District Contracts Administrator.
  • Coordinate resolution of computer system and information-related issues.
  • Acquire commodities and contractual services through the Ariba on Demand E-Procurement System.
  • Schedule, attend, and conduct meetings related to contract procurement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all necessary information.
  • Manage complex procurements such as Performance Based, Emergency, Fixed Capital Outlay, and Fast response contracts with minimal supervision.
  • Distribute relevant information to the Technical Review Committee and Contract Award Committee.
  • Process Performance Based, Emergency, Fixed Capital Outlay, and Fast response contracts in accordance with legal standards and procedures.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, rules, policies, processes, procedures, and computer systems and participate in their review process when available.
