Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing the framework and process for improvement activities including workshops, projects, and ideas.
- Help develop the strategic continuous improvement plan for the site.
- Identify resources and negotiate their support with the sponsor for improvement activities.
- Implement ambitious improvement projects using methods such as Lean Sigma.
- Drive the sustainment of continuous improvement activities through change management.
- Support and lead other strategic projects at the site.
- Communicate, discuss, and listen to challenges with management and teammates.
- Share lessons learned with the management team and other stakeholders.
- Create, develop, and deploy improvement training including Lean, 5S+1, and Process Mapping.
- Coach and facilitate improvement projects across all departments based on site needs.
- Assume all other responsibilities as assigned.
