At Modine, we are engineering a cleaner, healthier world by improving air quality and conserving natural resources. We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our mission. This hands-on, analytical role is central to identifying inefficiencies, leading Lean initiatives, and improving manufacturing processes to reduce waste and enhance performance.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and improve production and service processes to increase throughput and reduce waste.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing or logistics issues.
- Deploy Lean/Six Sigma tools to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Logistics, IT, Facilities) on scalable process improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard work, documentation, and training materials.
- Use data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support layout planning, equipment installation, and capacity modeling.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with process mapping, time studies, and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma fundamentals.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power Apps or Power BI.
