About the Role

Woodward is looking for a Continuous Improvement Expert (f/m) to champion operational excellence and embed a culture of continuous improvement. You will partner with Process Owners and Champions to drive measurable results using the Woodward Lean Business System, mentoring teams and leading strategic projects.

What You'll Do

  • Lead multiple process improvement teams using Lean & Six Sigma to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost.
  • Mentor and assist the leadership team in driving cultural change that embraces Continuous Improvement.
  • Mentor Greenbelts on their Lean/Six Sigma projects.
  • Lead and/or facilitate workshops, projects, and project reviews for internal members and suppliers.
  • Track and report project results to the leadership team.
  • Interface cross-functionally with internal members and external clients.
  • Own and manage the site's Kaizen-Teian program.
  • Stay current with state-of-the-art business trends, management techniques, and measurement tools.
  • Train, coach, and mentor Continuous Improvement principles throughout the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor or Engineer degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar continuous improvement role.
  • Technical competency in Lean & Six-Sigma, including DMAIC, BTO, the 19 elements of Lean, Kaizen, workout process management, project management, change management, and advanced statistical techniques.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
  • Very good English language skills.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, excellent oral/written communication, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and manage workshops, projects, and training sessions effectively.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and speak effectively before groups.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data collection, metrics, and using performance targets to track improvements.
  • Ability to influence change in a positive spirit of cooperation and collaboration.
  • Readiness to travel up to 20% of working time.

  • Compensation: 15 500 to 24 500 PLN gross per month, depending on experience.
