UBC Development and Alumni Engagement is looking for a Development Coordinator, Donor Relations to support initiatives that cultivate lifelong relationships with UBC donors, alumni, and students. You will provide essential program coordination within the team's four pillars of donor relations.
What You'll Do
- Support the development and implementation of new unit initiatives aligned with UBC's strategic plan.
- Ensure appropriate donor recognition, acknowledgement, and stewardship programs are in place.
- Develop and maintain expert use of the University's donor and alumni database.
- Participate in ongoing fundraising planning and process development.
- Write donor/prospect solicitation materials and correspondence.
- Research and draft fundraising proposals for senior management presentation.
- Develop unit analytical reports as requested by your manager.
- Ensure the processing of donor gifts, pledges, and receipts.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures as needed.
- Accommodate flexible hours to attend events.
- Manage administrative tasks, conduct research, and execute programs to strengthen donor engagement.

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination.

- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience using project management tools and principles to drive implementation.

Team & Environment
This role reports to an Associate Director, Manager, Director, Senior Director/Assistant Dean, or Executive Director of Development. You will work closely with UBC faculty and staff involved in fundraising and have contact with donors and outside community groups.
Benefits & Compensation
- Monthly salary range: $5,791.00 - $8,323.42 CAD.
