UBC The University of British Columbia is hiring a Development Coordinator, Donor Relations

Responsibilities

  • Supports the creation and execution of new team projects aligned with institutional strategic goals
  • Maintains donor recognition, acknowledgment, and stewardship practices
  • Gains comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in using the university's donor and alumni database system
  • Contributes to continuous improvement in fundraising planning, methods, and workflows
  • Prepares written materials and correspondence for donor and prospect outreach
  • Conducts research and drafts fundraising proposals for senior leaders to present to potential donors
  • Produces analytical reports for the unit as directed by management
  • Manages processing of donations, pledge commitments, and tax receipts
  • Establishes and updates operational processes and procedures as necessary
  • Must be available for flexible work hours and attendance at events
  • Completes additional related tasks as assigned
