Continental is looking for an intern to join its Tax Reporting & Accounting Principles department for a 6-month internship, starting in October. In this role, you will support critical tax reporting and international accounting topics within the Continental group, gaining hands-on experience in financial closings and accounting projects.
What You'll Do
- Communicate with Continental's domestic and international subsidiaries.
- Prepare, plan, and monitor quarterly and monthly financial closings.
- Analyze financial statements, especially tax-related items, of group companies.
- Support the practical implementation of specific accounting issues into group-wide standards.
- Actively participate in current department projects.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in a degree program in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable program with a focus on accounting or taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and spoken skills in both German and English.
- Independent, goal-oriented, and structured work style.
- High level of commitment and flexibility.
- Very well-developed communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in the fields of accounting or taxation.
