About the Role

Directive Consulting is seeking a Content Strategy Manager for a future remote opening in Mexico. In this crucial, client-facing role, you will be responsible for day-to-day client deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. You will focus on Enterprise clients and apply a deep understanding of the service line to create a holistic marketing strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve NSMs.
  • Use project phase, client marketing goals, campaigns, and historical performance to build and optimize strategies.
  • Work closely with the Associate Director when roadblocks impact strategy and goal attainment.
  • Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights.
  • Use data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs to set and present client goals.
  • Ensure strategy execution through project management, delegating tasks via Asana, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Partner with Project Managers in pods to manage task creation, assignment, and due dates.
  • Work with content writers and designers to complete content campaigns on time and to client quality standards.
  • Build relationships with clients as the main interface, communicating proactively about timelines, progress, and results.
  • Proactively communicate with internal leadership about roadblocks, growth opportunities, and account changes.
  • Report to clients bi-weekly on NSM progress and deliverables, monthly, quarterly, and in bi-annual business reviews.
  • Regularly look for opportunities to grow client business through upsells, cross-sells, and referrals.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record of success implementing SEO principles and content strategy: keyword research, on-page optimisation, and link building.
  • Analytical insight: ability to analyse website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Strong communication skills: comfortable client facing and owning relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog or other crawling tools.
  • Proven organisational, project, and time management skills.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content.
  • Must have agency experience.
  • Must have B2B tech and/or SaaS experience.

Team & Environment

You will work closely with an Associate Director (AsD) and partner with Project Managers in pods. The role reports directly to an Associate Director (AsD).
