SAP Software Solutions is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our Business Applications and Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating integrated marketing content aimed at Travel Manager personas to drive awareness, demand, and thought leadership for SAP Concur’s travel, expense, and related solutions portfolio. You will co-create and execute end-to-end campaign strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and measure content performance.
What You'll Do
- Translate business goals from marketing plans into actionable integrated campaigns and content across the customer lifecycle journey.
- Use audience insights, personas, keyword research, and analytics to build an editorial calendar and create related content.
- Create a steady stream of primary and derivative assets (e.g., research reports, infographics, blog posts, videos, webinars) for use across channels to drive pipeline and revenue.
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional participants (portfolio marketing, digital marketing, demand center, field marketing, marketing operations, IT, agencies, freelancers) to support content ideation, creation, activation, and measurement.
- Manage meeting and resource schedules, workflows, deadlines, and communication cadence.
- Publish and activate content within a web content management system or other tools.
- Contribute to LLM, SEO, and search engine marketing initiatives with content structure, keyword optimization, content tagging, and metadata management.
- Collaborate with marketing program owners, content strategists, and campaign managers to integrate and repurpose content for exceptional integrated campaigns and programs.
- Track, measure, and report content activation and performance against agreed-upon metrics, analyzing gaps and creating action plans.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years or more in a marketing, marketing communications, digital, media, advertising, or related role.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in integrated marketing campaign design, content marketing, and digital promotion.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new business domain knowledge to content strategy and asset creation.
- Ability to understand, digest, and distill complex concepts for mass consumption via engaging content.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Sensibility for design and video/multimedia.
- SEO experience and ability to structure content to support LLM visibility.
- Proofreading and copyediting skills for brand voice, style, grammar, and punctuation.
- Excellent communicator, including keen listening skills.
- Creative and innovative, discerning the essential points or storyline from information.
- Champions audience needs and interests.
- Flexible and able to shift strategies and tactics when required.
- Comfortable presenting content plans and results to cross-functional team members and leadership.
- Knowledge of content strategy.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO/AEO experience.
- Knowledge of company strategy, brand and value proposition, culture, and attitudes.
- Knowledge of target audience personas and buying processes, relevant industries/segments, and overall market landscape.
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging trends related to content and digital marketing innovation.
