Sensia is looking for an Editorial Leader to run and grow our consumer technology brand. You will be responsible for shaping the public conversation on AI tools and consumer technology, developing content strategy, leading a team, and driving audience growth across all platforms.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to lead public discourse on AI tools and consumer technology.
- Lead and mentor a team of editors, writers, and contributors, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality articles, reviews, news stories, and multimedia content.
- Establish new and creative ways to evaluate consumer tech hardware and software for buying advice.
- Train the team to build reporting skills with speed and a knack for unique stories.
- Develop and grow the brand's unique voice to differentiate from competitors.
- Use analytics and feedback to refine content strategies and enhance reader engagement.
- Work closely with commercial and sales teams to align content with monetization strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 7-10 years of editorial experience in tech media.
- At least 3-5 years in a leadership role within professional media.
- Proven track record leading an editorial team and significantly growing traffic and audience.
- Strong editorial and news judgment and writing/editing skills.
- Prior experience with news and/or product reviews workflows.
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team across geographic and remote locations.
- Excellent understanding of SEO, the AI overview landscape, and audience development on multiple platforms.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
