What You'll Do
In this hybrid position, you’ll play a key role in managing medication-related processes for patients and providers. You'll handle refill requests, support medication reconciliation, and identify gaps in treatment through proactive patient outreach. Your work will ensure prescriptions are coordinated efficiently and in alignment with clinical protocols.
You’ll analyze medication concerns, conduct follow-ups, and determine when issues need escalation to a pharmacist. By applying established procedures, you’ll help maintain accuracy and consistency across workflows while supporting scheduling for pharmacist consultations.
Requirements
You must live within commuting distance of Orlando, Florida, and hold an active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in Florida. Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is required within 10 months of hire. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy-related call center environment is necessary.
Strong communication abilities and comfort using multiple software systems simultaneously are essential. You must have a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required, including passing the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test in both languages.
