Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive behavioral assessments for clients across various environments
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention strategies based on assessment outcomes
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians in evidence-based practices
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and caregivers to support client goals
  • Ensure all services align with professional ethical guidelines
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses
  • Implement behavior plans in home, school, and community settings
  • Provide feedback and recommendations during team meetings
  • Train caregivers in behavior management techniques
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure service continuity
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Attend client reviews and program evaluations
  • Support data collection and analysis for treatment effectiveness
  • Respond to behavioral emergencies with appropriate protocols
  • Promote client independence through skill-building activities
  • Ensure cultural sensitivity in all client interactions
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
  • Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with direct service staff
  • Review and approve clinical documentation
  • Assist in program development and quality improvement
  • Engage in ongoing communication with referring agencies
  • Support transition planning for clients moving between settings

Qualifications

  • Must hold current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst
  • Valid state license in behavior analysis or related field required
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related discipline
  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or special education
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Proven track record in developing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and methodologies
  • Prior field supervision experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Background check clearance is mandatory
  • Knowledge of functional assessment tools and techniques
  • Experience in school or home-based settings
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseloads
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with data tracking and analysis software
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional standards
  • Capacity to adapt to dynamic client environments
  • Willingness to travel within assigned regions
  • Experience with diverse populations and age groups
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion
