YASH Technologies is seeking a Consultant to join our Digital Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise data warehouse that integrates data from various sources across the organization.

What You'll Do

Design end-to-end solutions for business data needs within the Oracle BI Tool stack, with a focus on ODI and SQL.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain the data warehouse to collate and integrate current and historical data.
Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery for the data warehouse and related systems.
Apply expertise in Dimensional Modelling (using Star/Snowflake schema) and draft High-Level and Low-Level Data Warehouse designs.
Conduct research into new data warehouse applications to determine viability for adoption.
Gather and analyze data requirements and data flows to other systems.
Develop physical data models to define the database structure.
Optimize database and ETL performance through efficient Performance Tuning techniques.
Develop in ODI (in BIAPPS Environment) and perform tuning of SQL programs.
Develop data architecture and logical and physical data models.
Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.
Automate various ETL jobs and failure notifications.
Manage data migrations/conversions and troubleshoot data processing issues.
Apply expertise in data warehousing concepts like SCDs, dimensional modelling, archive strategy, and database concepts like partitioning.
Prepare data verification and testing methods for data and applications loaded into the warehouse.
Review and suggest improvements in existing Data Warehouse solutions.
Provide training on ETL, Data Warehousing, and Dimensional Modelling.
Guide and help team members with technical issues.
Coordinate among various teams for day-to-day activities.
Work with Project Managers to assist in various project implementations.
Design and improve BI processes for Development and Change Management.

What We're Looking For

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, and ETL.
Proficiency in OBIA using ODI in a BIAPPS environment.
Mandatory skills in PL/SQL and Java.
Exposure to other ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, or Synapse.
Ability to work on highly complex problems and provide feasible solutions in a timely manner.
Ability to work in a demanding user environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Readiness to work in 24*7 support environments.
A good team player.
