Stony Creek Homes is looking for a Construction Project Manager to be the central conductor for a dynamic portfolio of residential builds. You will take 100% ownership for the success or failure of your projects, managing a mix of 5 active construction and 5 pre-construction homes simultaneously.
What You'll Do
- Take 100% ownership and responsibility for the success or failure of your project portfolio.
- Manage at least 10 residential projects simultaneously—5 in active construction and 5 in pre-construction.
- Orchestrate estimators, drafters, superintendents, and field teams to keep everyone in sync.
- Forecast budgets, schedules, and resource needs across every project.
- Identify risks and catch scope creep before it becomes a crisis.
- Build the frameworks, templates, and tracking systems needed for company growth.
- Remove blockages when a project hits a wall; take action without waiting for permission.
- Monitor budgets and schedules daily to ensure field teams don't make unauthorized changes impacting profits or timelines.
- Lead through influence and collaboration, not threats or micromanagement.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience (Residential, Commercial, or Mixed-use).
- Expert-level proficiency with MS Project or Primavera and Gantt chart methodologies.
- Ability to intimately study and interpret construction drawings, specs, and scope documents.
- A 'builder' mentality—enjoys creating structure where none exists.
