Responsibilities
- Oversee a large-scale ground-up data center construction project
- Provide high-level strategy, leadership, planning, and overall coordination of the CM’s on-site staff, project requirements, and stakeholders
- Ensure complete accountability for full project lifecycle, from pre-construction phase to commissioning/completion
- Serve as the primary liaison between the AECOM Tishman Project Executive team, design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders/client(s)
- In close collaboration with the general superintendent, direct day-to-day construction operations and long-term strategic direction of the project
- Ensure all project milestones are met on time and within budget
- Assist with team building and recruitment of additional team members as needed
- Manage the project budget within set parameters
- Oversee change order process with management team
- Champion and enforce a zero-incident safety culture
- Act as liaison between local AHJ’s, inspectors, and community
Requirements
- Seasoned construction leader experience
- Accountability for full project lifecycle from pre-construction to commissioning/completion
- Proven ability to serve as primary liaison between executive teams, design teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Experience directing day-to-day construction operations in collaboration with general superintendent
- Demonstrated ability to meet project milestones on time and within budget
- Experience managing project budgets within set parameters
- Experience overseeing change order processes
- Commitment to enforcing a zero-incident safety culture
- Ability to liaise with local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), inspectors, and community stakeholders
