As the Creative Operations Lead, you will shape the backbone of a rapidly scaling creative engine. Your focus will be on redefining how creative work moves from concept to completion—by diagnosing inefficiencies, redesigning workflows, and implementing systems that grow with demand.
What You’ll Own
- Map and reengineer end-to-end creative workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce cycle time.
- Design and deploy automation across platforms to reduce manual effort and improve coordinator productivity.
- Develop a structured approach to handling mid-cycle changes, replacing reactive escalations with clear triage protocols.
- Ensure operational processes evolve in real time with platform updates, avoiding production delays.
- Lead the hiring, development, and performance management of the creative coordinator team.
- Create a scalable workload assignment model that replaces ad-hoc staffing.
- Coordinate capacity planning across teams, aligning resources with delivery goals and growth forecasts.
- Partner with editorial, production, and growth leads to resolve systemic constraints and increase creative output.
- Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation or AI augmentation and drive their implementation.
- Own operational challenges from root cause analysis to deployed solution, with measurable outcomes.
- Instill a culture where the team improves processes, not just follows them.
- Establish a consistent operating rhythm that reinforces accountability and continuous improvement.
- Define and enforce standard operating procedures across all core workflows.
- Build dashboards and alerts that provide leadership with real-time insight into pipeline performance and resource utilization.
What We’re Looking For
You have 5–10 years of experience in creative or production operations within fast-moving environments such as agencies, studios, or performance-driven content teams. You’ve built scalable systems from the ground up and can point to specific improvements in throughput, efficiency, or team effectiveness. You’re fluent in tools like Monday.com or Airtable, and you’ve personally built integrations or automated workflows using APIs, scripts, or AI-enhanced solutions—not just managed vendors.
Leadership is central to this role. You’ve managed teams, made staffing decisions, and developed people. You’re analytical by nature, comfortable turning data into decisions, and skilled at building dashboards that inform action. Experience with remote team management is a strong plus.
Environment & Culture
This is a builder’s role in a culture that values ownership, direct communication, and results. You’ll thrive here if you’re energized by complexity, enjoy untangling undocumented systems, and think in frameworks. The pace is fast, feedback is direct, and success is measured by impact—not activity.

- Base salary: $110,000–$150,000
- Performance bonus tied to measurable gains in operational throughput and efficiency
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- Unlimited paid time off
- 401(k) with company match
- Life insurance
- Paid sick days
- Parental leave up to 12 weeks
- Additional benefits included
Work Mode
This is an onsite role based in Los Angeles, CA. You’ll work directly within the operational hub to drive alignment and execution across teams.
