About the Role

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is hiring a Construction Assessor to join our construction services team. In this full-time role, you will plan, execute, review, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

What You'll Do

  • Manage involvement in multiple projects concurrently.
  • Oversee the quality of deliverables throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Coordinate team members and Partner Associates (PAs) to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with team members, the client, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and write detailed reports.
  • Ensure the quality of all services and reports.
  • Communicate project expectations and specifications to team members.
  • Provide actionable recommendations and solutions, understanding the assessment's impact.
  • Identify and resolve project issues.
  • Deliver progress reports and coordinate follow-up questions during review.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in construction or related fields such as architecture, construction management, or engineering.
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and deliver a quality product on time.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of design processes, construction elements (contracts, cost, admin, scheduling), and funding/payment processes.
  • Proficiency in report authorship and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English clearly.
  • Visual acuity adequate for reading printed sources and computer screens.
  • Ability to visit construction job sites and maneuver around active construction activities.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor's Degree or greater from an accredited university in architecture, construction management, or an engineering discipline.

You will be a key member of our construction services team, coordinating and collaborating closely with internal team members and external partners to drive project success.
