Acv is looking for a Cond Report Writer to perform accurate vehicle condition inspections that support the processing and sale of client vehicles. You’ll join a dynamic company with a people-first mindset and a deep culture of growth and autonomy, focused on teammate wellness.
What You'll Do
- Verify vehicle identification and update vehicle information including Year, Make, Model, and Trim Lines
- Inspect vehicle equipment, options, interior, tires, and mechanical components
- Document and estimate vehicle damages, utilizing standardized lists to assign costs
- Take photographs to support and complete reports
- Move vehicles throughout the lot and park them in designated areas as needed
- Review and document odometer information
- Assess frame condition and document damages to unibody and/or frame
- Assess mechanical condition of vehicles, documenting issues found
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to operate a computer, laptop, or tablet (iPad preferred)
- Ability to write professional reports and learn job-specific computer programs
- Basic knowledge of vehicles
- Ability to digitally photograph vehicles and upload photos to a computer
Nice to Have
- Post high school training in damage assessment
- Background in automotive repair cost estimating
