BetMGM LLC is hiring a Compliance Data Analyst to use data and analytical techniques to gain insights, address challenges, and drive efficiencies for compliance stakeholders. This role focuses on areas including AML, Trading Compliance, Responsible Gaming, and Internal Audit.

What You'll Do

Analyze compliance data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
Lean into automations and solutions using technology such as Python and Streamlit
Develop dashboards to reduce manual, repeatable work and visualize key metrics
Support the development and implementation of data-driven initiatives to improve data visibility
Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across analyses and KPIs through strong quality control processes and documentation
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
Communicate complex data findings in a clear, concise, and compelling way

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on compliance data
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Ability to read and write notebooks using Python
Intermediate use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to a non-technical audience
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement
Ability to pivot with short deadlines through agile working methods and supporting documentation
Skilled in troubleshooting/identification and resolution of bugs
Curious in nature and a drive to solve business problems
Good verbal reasoning skills
Articulate and confident when presenting the output of your work
Driven by data and statistical findings
Meeting etiquette and competency to understand stakeholder problems and provide technical solutions
