Babcock International is looking for a Compliance and Air Safety Manager to lead the safety, quality, and compliance of the HADES defence aviation programme. You will act as the nominated Air Safety Manager, ensuring all activities comply with Military Regulatory Articles and ISO9001:2015 standards. What You'll Do
- Act as the HADES Form 4 Quality Manager in line with RA 4806 requirements (MRP 145.A.30).
- Serve as the ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and oversee the full internal audit programme.
- Provide leadership and support for the Air Safety Management System and Quality Management System.
- Ensure audit programmes assess all activities, validate controls and satisfy stakeholder requirements.
- Maintain a continuous‑improvement framework that monitors performance, trends safety indicators and drives quality enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience owning and operating a Quality Management System in the aircraft maintenance sector.
- Extensive auditing experience within the aviation maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of error‑management systems, Just Culture principles and investigation techniques.
- Experience embedding and sustaining continual improvement.
- Military Regulatory Publication Part 145 Form Four Quality Manager qualification.
- International Organization for Standardization 9001 Lead qualification.
- Ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
