We're convinced we're on the verge of creating something truly extraordinary. ### Role Overview: We're hunting for a detail-obsessed, communication-savvy individual to join our compliance team. In this role, you'll be the maestro of customer complaints - particularly around Safer Gambling and Anti-Financial Crime. Your mission: resolve issues fairly, professionally, and in strict alignment with the Gambling Commission's Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP). You'll also conduct independent internal audits and continuously evaluate our policies, processes, and procedures to maintain a rock-solid compliance culture. ### Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end customer complaint handling, ensuring timely, transparent, and LCCP-compliant resolution - Coordinate with internal teams (Customer Support, Compliance, Safer Gambling, AFC, Payments) to investigate and gather evidence - Continuously improve our complaints handling process to meet regulatory expectations - Support internal audit activities across all business functions, identifying compliance risks and operational gaps - Prepare and present audit findings to senior leadership - Assist Heads of Regulatory and Operational Compliance with documentation and regulatory record maintenance - Handle data subject access requests with precision and UK GDPR compliance - Manage inbound due diligence requests and conduct due diligence on new and existing third-party partners - Monitor third-party activities to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance - Review and approve marketing communications for alignment with advertising codes and licensing obligations ### Essential: - Experience in a regulated gambling environment - Deep understanding of LCCP, AML/CTF obligations, and Safer Gambling practices - Exceptional communication skills, able to explain complex decisions clearly and empathetically - Comfortable working independently and managing multiple case files simultaneously - Stellar organisational and analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach - Gap Analysis Experience - Auditing Experience ### Desirable: - Experience with UK-based ADR bodies (IBAS, eCOGRA) - Background handling escalated complaints or regulatory submissions - Previous use of case management systems like Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom - Familiarity with UK GDPR and data subject access request management ### What's in it for you: - Shape our future: Your voice matters, and you'll directly impact Midnite's trajectory - Quarterly team gatherings to connect and unwind - Comprehensive zero-excess health insurance (including optical and dental) - Nursery salary sacrifice scheme - 25 paid holidays annually - Generous parental leave - Fully-equipped home office setup - Flexible working arrangements - Tech upgrade salary sacrifice options - Exclusive retailer and subscription discounts - Professional development opportunities - Transparent, fair compensation - Culture of constructive feedback At Midnite, we're committed to creating equal opportunities.
