Risk Labs is seeking a Community Manager to act as the essential bridge between our core team and the dynamic communities around UMA and Across Protocol. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a strong, engaged network of users, developers, and enthusiasts.
What You'll Do
- Manage the functionality and moderation of our community platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram) to ensure inclusive, welcoming, and productive environments.
- Maintain a strong support presence to help users quickly and effectively navigate UMA and Across products.
- Organize and host engaging community events including quests, AMAs, and calls that deepen connections and drive growth.
- Lead and execute community growth campaigns across social media and partner ecosystems to raise brand awareness and member engagement.
- Actively engage with users and external communities to foster adoption, loyalty, and advocacy.
- Coordinate and empower a team of moderators, technical support contributors, verifiers, and other community-facing roles.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of related full-time work experience required.
- 2+ years of admin experience managing messaging platforms like Discord or Telegram.
- Experience with leading community-based moderators, or similar leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of DAO culture, governance processes, and DAO tooling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong resourcefulness and attention to detail.
- Ability to showcase your infectious positive energy, empathetic attitude, and kindness in your work.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, social media management, or related field.
- Familiarity with DeFi, interop solutions, oracles, prediction markets, and related blockchain technologies.
Team & Environment
You will work in collaboration with our marketing team and alongside another experienced Community Manager.
