This position leads community outreach and relationship development with local stakeholders as part of the Government Relations team. The role emphasizes facilitating dialogue, addressing public inquiries, and advancing equitable access to micromobility services.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive strategies for community engagement.
- Plan and lead public forums such as open houses, roundtables, and local events to collect input, encourage conversation, and inform riders.
- Establish and sustain partnerships with community leaders, neighborhood groups, and key stakeholders.
- Act as the main contact for public and community questions, while coordinating with government representatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates to stakeholders about program changes and impacts, and manage a database to record interactions and feedback.
- Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to produce clear, culturally appropriate messaging, and represent the organization at public gatherings.
- Work with operations staff to incorporate community input, manage outreach programs, assess engagement outcomes, and prepare summaries for leadership and municipal contacts.
Requirements
- Minimum of two consecutive years of experience in community engagement, government affairs, public policy, campaigns, or communications within the Los Angeles area.
- At least two years of direct experience working with government entities at any level.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Los Angeles region and other Southwest markets.
- Availability to attend events during evenings and weekends.

Compensation
Base salary range reflects expected offer based on location, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include discretionary annual performance bonuses and equity, subject to plan terms and eligibility. Final salary determined by candidate qualifications.
Work Arrangement
Remote position within the United States, requiring residence in Los Angeles to ensure effective collaboration across teams.
