About the Role
This position is responsible for driving community growth and public presence by developing relationships with local stakeholders, managing outreach programs, and supporting regional visibility through culturally relevant activities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with local organizations, groups, and leaders
- Plan and execute community events to increase awareness and engagement
- Develop outreach strategies tailored to regional audiences
- Collaborate with internal teams to align initiatives with organizational goals
- Represent the organization at public functions and networking opportunities
- Gather community feedback and share insights with leadership
- Support the creation of localized content for communication channels
- Monitor outreach performance using defined metrics
- Maintain up-to-date records of community interactions and partnerships
- Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and cultural norms
- Respond to community inquiries and support two-way communication
- Assist in training team members on community engagement practices
- Promote programs through grassroots and digital methods
- Coordinate logistics for events and field activities
- Build trust within communities through consistent and authentic presence
- Identify opportunities for collaboration with educational institutions
- Support crisis communication efforts when needed
- Contribute to reports on community impact and participation
- Stay informed about regional social and economic developments
- Advocate for community needs within the organization
- Use feedback to refine outreach approaches
- Ensure materials reflect local language and context
- Engage underrepresented groups to broaden participation
- Maintain a calendar of community-related activities
- Support volunteer recruitment and coordination
