M&T Bank is hiring a Commercial Senior Relationship Manager to focus on Mortgage Warehouse Lending. In this role, you will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of clients primarily in the Independent Mortgage Banking (IMB) sector. You will source new business, cross-sell services, and administer existing relationships to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
What You'll Do
- Source and develop new Independent Mortgage Banking relationships, conducting pre-qualification and due diligence.
- Grow, manage, and retain an existing portfolio of mortgage warehouse clients.
- Participate in a formal call program to develop new loan, deposit, and fee-based business.
- Maximize portfolio profitability by maintaining a high-quality loan portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with all bank guidelines, policies, and audit requirements.
- Follow residential mortgage market trends to increase business in established and developing markets.
- Represent the bank in civic and community activities.
- Work closely with the underwriting and operations teams to service clients.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or four years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of seven years of commercial lending experience.

- A strong mortgage warehouse lending relationship management background.
- An underwriting and portfolio management background.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with the underwriting and operations team to service clients and manage the portfolio.
Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $123,600 - $206,000 (USD).
