Royal BAM Group is looking for a Commercial Manager to manage commercial activity, contract governance, and financial oversight for construction and civil engineering projects. This role is based at our head office in Kill, Kildare.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coordinate all commercial activity.
- Manage contract governance and commercial risk.
- Oversee contract performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Price variations and manage change control.
- Develop budgets and create cost forecasts.
- Provide commercial oversight of suppliers and contractors.
- Support procurement through tender evaluation.
- Conduct commercial analysis and reporting.
- Liaise with clients and compile tender costing.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly project reporting to the Head of Finance.
- Provide actual and forecast reporting for multiple projects.
- Implement cost-saving strategies.
- Work on new opportunities and bid for new projects.
- Send out tenders and evaluate responses.
- Let subcontract and supplier packages.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
What We're Looking For
- Experience of a commercial nature in building, M&E, or FM.
- Experience in cost reporting, subcontractor management, and efficiency evaluations.
- The ability to communicate, control, and organise budgets.
- Experience working in bidding.
- Strong contractual competency.
