The Symicor Group is hiring a Commercial Lender to make and service a variety of commercial loans in the Naperville, IL market. In this role, you will develop commercial loan accounts, assist senior officers with larger loans, and provide comprehensive customer services.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage commercial loan accounts that meet lending requirements and provide maximum profitability at minimum risk.
- Collect and analyze information reflecting the current creditworthiness of customers and the merits of existing loans.
- Review and analyze title reports or surveys to determine issues and any present or potential risks.
- Analyze applicant's financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine loan feasibility or submit to a credit analyst.
- Meet with applicants to obtain loan application information and answer questions about the process.
- Guide loans through the approval and closing process.
- Explain, promote, cross-sell, or refer bank, insurance, and trust products or services.
- Represent the Bank in the community through professional and civic involvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Six or more years of progressively greater responsibility and experience in commercial lending.
- $15MM in annual commercial loan production.
- Experience analyzing financial statements.
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and State regulations covering commercial banking activities.
- Strong analytical ability with effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Efficient use of Outlook, Word, and Excel applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Completion of a formalized credit training program.
