First American is looking for a Commercial Escrow Officer to be a key facilitator in the commercial real estate process. You will join a team dedicated to providing secure and efficient closing services, working fully remote from within Florida. This role focuses on establishing new escrow accounts and processing documents while acting as a neutral third-party between buyers and sellers.
What You'll Do
- Handle a range of Commercial Title and Escrow Transactions
- Analyze company risk as it pertains to escrow and title decisions
- Actively participate in all escrow calls and training workshops
- Enhance title knowledge by consistently communicating with Title Underwriters
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of policies and procedures, including wire fraud prevention
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related industry experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience directly handling escrow transactions as an escrow assistant
- Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent client relations and organizational skills
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to calculate financial figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Nice to Have
- Specialized knowledge in one or more specific escrow product areas
