Garner Health is looking for a Commercial Counsel to manage the company’s commercial transactions from end-to-end. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements, advising internal stakeholders, and developing and scaling contract management processes.
What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including master service agreements, business associate agreements, vendor agreements, data use agreements, data protection agreements, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and employment-related agreements.
- Maintain and improve contract templates, approval matrices, and internal guidance relating to transactional issues.
- Manage and develop transactional processes, including contract lifecycle management, to boost efficiency and support greater scale.
- Advise internal stakeholders, primarily on commercial transactions but also on other day-to-day legal issues and challenges as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
- A J.D. from a U.S. law school and admission to a state bar.
- No fear of technical, financial, or data science concepts.
- A willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success.

- Salary range: $160,000 - $185,000 + equity incentive plan eligibility.
