As the sole Commercial Account Executive, you will own the entire commercial sales lifecycle from initial inbound qualification through discovery, demonstration, negotiation, and close. With no handoffs or shared responsibilities, you’ll operate independently to build and refine a scalable, AI-native sales engine from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and expand a portfolio of commercial accounts, proactively identifying at-risk customers and implementing system-driven interventions to improve retention without relying on high-touch follow-up
- Design and deploy intelligent automation and AI-powered workflows that multiply your impact, enabling one person to manage volume and complexity far beyond traditional manual methods
- Create the commercial sales playbook from scratch — defining processes, cadences, and systems that will become the blueprint for future growth and inform enterprise-level strategy
- Develop deep expertise in the product to engage technical and executive stakeholders in meaningful discussions about roadmaps, feedback, and product development
- Track, analyze, and iterate on your performance data to optimize results and share actionable insights across the broader commercial organization
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years in B2B SaaS sales or account management with a consistent history of meeting or exceeding targets in fast-paced, transactional environments
- Experience closing deals averaging $10K–$30K in ACV at scale
- Proven ability to design and implement AI-enhanced workflows that significantly improve productivity and outcomes
- High level of initiative and comfort working autonomously in ambiguous, evolving environments
- Background in renewals or account management with a focus on retention
- Exceptional written communication skills suited to a remote-first, asynchronous work culture
