Reprise Financial is hiring a Collections Specialist (Loan Servicing Representative) to play a key role in the success of our portfolio. This position is based in Irving, TX and follows up with customers to ensure timely payments, loss mitigation, and loan modifications.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and contact customers with outstanding debts.
- Work to bring customers into active status by reviewing payment options, extensions, and loan modifications.
- Process payments from customers and assist them with setting up recurring or single payments.
- Answer customer questions related to general account maintenance (e.g., balances, payments, address changes).
- Take actions to encourage timely debt payments.
- Ensure account maintenance is updated within the core system of record.
- Report on collection activity and account status.
- Research history such as ACH transactions, disputes, posting errors, and submit corrections.
- Support other functions within the Collections and Servicing teams.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of collections experience in a high-volume call center environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of collection practices and associated regulations.
- Prior customer service and/or call center experience.
- Experience working in financial services, lending or payments.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish).
