As a Cold Email Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a central role in driving new business through targeted outbound email outreach. You'll be responsible for identifying and building prospect lists using platforms like ZoomInfo, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ensuring each contact aligns with our ideal customer profiles.
Campaign Development & Execution
You'll craft personalized, value-focused email copy and design multi-touch sequences of 4–8 emails optimized for engagement. Using tools such as Lemlist, Instantly, or Woodpecker, you'll launch and manage campaigns while continuously refining performance through A/B testing of subject lines, CTAs, and send times.
Deliverability & Compliance
Maintaining strong sender reputation is critical. You'll manage domain warming, monitor IP health, and track bounce and spam complaint rates. You must ensure all outreach complies with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA regulations, with strict attention to data privacy and opt-out protocols.
Performance Tracking & Sales Alignment
You'll analyze key metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and reply volume to assess campaign effectiveness. Qualified leads will be passed to sales teams with detailed CRM notes in Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho. Your insights will directly influence pipeline growth and campaign strategy refinement.
Requirements
- 1–2 years in outbound lead generation, SDR roles, or email campaign management
- Experience with cold email platforms such as Apollo, Lemlist, or Instantly
- Strong writing skills with a focus on persuasive, concise outreach
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data handling
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead qualification workflows
- Understanding of email deliverability best practices and sender reputation
- Knowledge of compliance standards including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CCPA
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation habits
Preferred Background
Technical knowledge of DNS records and authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC is a plus.
