The Code Club Program Coordinator plays a key role in expanding access to coding education for young people across targeted regions of the United States. Reporting to the National Program Manager, you will help grow and sustain after-school coding clubs for children aged 9 to 16 by working directly with schools, school districts, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the rollout of strategies to establish and maintain Code Clubs in priority states
- Develop and maintain relationships with educators, administrators, and community leaders to support club implementation
- Guide new clubs through onboarding, ensuring they receive necessary materials and training
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, webinars, and events in partnership with marketing and outreach teams
- Respond to inquiries from volunteers and educators, offering guidance and directing complex issues appropriately
- Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce and Monday.com, tracking club activity, partners, and volunteer engagement
- Generate reports and dashboards using collected data to inform program decisions
- Support internal communications, including newsletters and community updates
- Assist with safeguarding compliance by monitoring training completion for volunteers
- Provide administrative support for the U.S. team, including scheduling, calendar management, and preparation of meeting materials
Qualifications and Experience
You bring at least two years of experience working with schools or youth-focused organizations, ideally in STEM, computer science, or digital learning. A solid understanding of the U.S. education landscape is essential, along with strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with experience engaging diverse audiences. You are adaptable, collaborative, and committed to advancing educational equity. The role requires the ability to travel nationally on a regular basis.
Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred, though training can be provided. Experience collecting and analyzing program data is an asset.
