Birlasoft is seeking a Cloud & Infra Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the operational support of critical IT applications, focusing on Windows and Linux systems, Wintel services, and automation. Your work will ensure system stability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Provide operational support for IT Applications.
- Understand Windows Server OS and perform basic operations on Linux OS systems.
- Support Wintel services including IIS Web Servers, Cluster Services, Certificate request creation, and installation.
- Perform basic MS SQL DBA activities such as backup/restore operations, user management, and health checks.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and SPL (Splunk Processing Language) to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system health and application performance using New Relic and Splunk.
- Analyze alerts and logs, identify root causes, and support incident resolution and problem management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, performance, and security.
- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration records.
