Applied Information Sciences is looking for a Cloud Enterprise Services Engineer - Subject Matter Expert to support a federal client's architecture and infrastructure program. In this role as an Infrastructure Architect, you will design scalable, resilient cloud solutions, lead key initiatives, and drive automation and governance for enterprise services.
What You'll Do
- Build new and improve existing automation and scripted tools to scale enterprise cloud offerings.
- Assist with auditing, reporting, and managing cloud-based services and offerings.
- Execute and manage special projects to enhance enterprise services environments.
- Develop workflows to improve the scaling of cloud-related operations across the enterprise.
- Design and build automation/scripts to scale enterprise cloud service offerings and operational workflows.
- Support audits, reporting, and governance activities for cloud services.
- Lead architectural initiatives, establish performance benchmarks, and integrate systems at scale.
- Research emerging technology and mitigate enterprise risk.
- Ensure integrity, scalability, and cost/performance optimization.
- Lead architectural teams, build strategic partnerships, and institutionalize knowledge management.
- Deliver architectural consulting aligned to business strategy and propose enterprise technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
- Certifications: IAT-2 and one or more cloud certifications.
- Active Secret clearance (or higher).
- Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering/documentation practices.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment at sites near Boston, MA.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.
