Devoteam is hiring a Cloud Architect (AWS) for its Lyon agency. You will join the A Cloud Squad, a community of experts within a 350-person agency, to design AWS architectures and lead large-scale cloud migration and modernization projects. Your role will be central to supporting clients throughout their digital transformation journey.
What You'll Do
- Conceive and propose AWS Cloud architectures tailored to client challenges.
- Participate in large-scale projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and implementing innovative solutions.
- Intervene throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales to operational implementation.
- Advise and guide clients in their digital transformation, working alongside a technical leader.
- Support cloud architects and experts by facilitating progressive knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to the dynamics of the local AWS community by sharing expertise and participating in events.
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience designing and implementing large-scale AWS Cloud solutions.
- Mastery of key AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda) and the ability to integrate them into a coherent architecture.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation).
- Ability to define secure, performant, and resilient architectures, considering cost and governance challenges.
- Good understanding of hybrid environments and cloud migration issues.
- Ability to communicate with various stakeholders (CIOs, technical teams, business units) and explain architectural choices.
- Enjoy mentoring, sharing knowledge, and supporting cloud engineers in their skills development.
- Graduate of higher education in computer science (Bac+5) or equivalent.
Nice to Have
- Contributing to the community (meetups, conferences, articles) and staying informed about the latest AWS innovations.
