loanDepot is looking for a Closing Support Specialist to provide essential support to our Closing department with a focus on Wires, Funding, or Scheduling. You’ll ensure all duties are performed according to company policy and federal regulations.

What You'll Do

Process receipts and disbursements of borrowers’ and lenders’ funds.
Manage booking of incoming wires to the appropriate files.
Review the accuracy of all outgoing wires before approving the release of funds.
Analyze daily reports to ensure all wires were received and sent correctly.
Assist the funding team lead with banking-related issues.
Scan and upload disbursement documents such as signed checks and cover letters.
Handle all signing requests and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
Communicate with lenders, vendors, or notaries regarding scheduling issues.
Assist the closing team lead with signing-related issues.

What We're Looking For

Ability to commute full-time to our Irvine, CA or Rochester, NY office. Remote consideration is based on location and experience.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively with minimal supervision.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice to Have

Mortgage industry experience is highly preferred.
