The University of Miami is looking for a Clinical Research Project Manager to oversee the planning and management of clinical trials and research projects. This remote role supports the university's mission by providing quality services related to research reviews, advanced assessments, and program management.
What You'll Do
- Define the scope of projects in conjunction with leadership and establish objectives and evaluation measures.
- Determine required resources and establish comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure successful completion.
- Identify protocol problems, inform investigators, and assist in problem resolution.
- Consult with leadership on the selection of project staff and assign project tasks.
- Ensure all project personnel receive orientation appropriate to the project.
- Manage project staff according to established organizational policies and practices.
- Review the quality of work completed with the project team regularly to ensure it meets project standards.
- Document all project-related activities and ensure project files are maintained and secured.
- Create a communication schedule to update stakeholders on project progress.
- Prepare and present status reports for leadership.
- Participate in preparation and management of research budgets and monetary disbursements.
- Track items related to CDAs, budget, and contract completion status.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical research project management experience.
