Clinical Research Strategist, Senior - Remote The Senior Clinical Research Strategist collaborates closely with PHS's Health Outcomes Research team to spearhead clinical research initiatives that assess and document outcomes linked to PHS's clinical programs. This role may contribute as a co-author for publications and is tasked with synthesizing data findings to support clinical claims and initiatives. Responsibilities - Integrates diverse data sources into comprehensive presentations and support materials for potential scientific journal publications or internal organizational communication - Leads analytical efforts in generating reports, scorecards, and data analyses using Pharmacy and/or Medical claims data to support Integrated Care & Specialty, Sales, and Marketing departments - Collaborates with Principal Health Outcomes Researcher and internal stakeholders to refine research concepts, conduct systematic literature reviews, and develop summaries for proposals and project deliverables - Provides specialized expertise in SQL programming, Google Cloud Platform, pharmacy industry trends, drug approval processes, formulary design, and claims adjudication - Develops innovative technical solutions for complex challenges and documents departmental procedures - Contributes to intellectual property development specifically associated with the organization - Performs additional assigned responsibilities Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; HS diploma or GED required - 5 years of relevant Healthcare experience in claims data analysis, clinical research study design, and/or epidemiology - Previous SQL coding experience - Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Additional Qualifications - Intermediate to advanced Python and Google Cloud Platform proficiency - Comprehensive knowledge of drug and disease terminology - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical and research orientation - Proven experience solving complex problems using creative processes and analytical tools Preferred Qualifications - Research Master's Degree - Expertise in Good Research Practices (GRP) data-handling procedures - Advanced clinical training or certifications - Previous clinical experience in managed care, pharmaceutical, or PBM environments - Experience managing extensive healthcare and pharmaceutical databases All employees must understand, comply with, and attest to job-specific security responsibilities and controls, adhering to legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal guidelines.
